Tragic Accident in Kanpur: Truck and Bus on Head-on Collision Kill Two, Five Others Injured
Two people died, and five were injured in a tragic truck-bus collision near the Sugar Mill turn in Kanpur. Emergency services, aided by local residents, rescued the injured, while senior officials supervised the operations. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
Tragic Accident in Kanpur: A head-on collision between a truck and a bus near the Sugar Mill turn in Ghatampur police station area in Kanpur resulted in two drivers getting killed and five others injured. This accident took place at night, but it did not take much time for the local authorities and emergency responders to rush to the scene.
Police used gas cutters to take out the truck driver from the wreckage, and the injured were shifted to Ghatampur Community Health Center (CHC). Later, the seriously injured were referred to Kanpur for further medical treatment.
Senior officials, including ADM (FR), DCP (Traffic), reached the accident site to oversee the rescue efforts and the control of the situation. A proper probe into the causes of the incident is being conducted.
