Tragic Incident in Rajasthan: Three Dead After Daughter-in-Law Accidentally Adds Pesticide to Tea
A shocking incident has come to light in a village in Rajasthan's Banswara district. Three people, including a mother, son, and grandmother, died after consuming pesticide meant for tea leaves by mistake. The incident occurred in the Nalda village under the Ambapura police station area, which shocked and grieved the entire community. The family members are left devastated, with relatives crying tearfully.
On Monday morning, Darija, the daughter-in-law of farmer Lal, prepared tea for the family. In a tragic mix-up, she added termite pesticide instead of tea leaves. Darija drank the tea herself and served it to her family members, including her husband, father-in-law, mother-in-law, son, and a neighbor. Within moments of drinking the tea, all of them began to feel unwell, and soon after, they started vomiting.
Three in Critical Condition
When the villagers got wind of the incident and rushed to the house, three people were found dead there, and three others were in very critical condition. The villagers sent the affected people to a nearby hospital, where doctors confirmed the death of Darija. The other five included her husband Shambhu, father-in-law Lal, mother-in-law Chanda, son Akshay, and neighbor Manish; they were referred to a district hospital in Udaipur for further treatment.
Police Investigation On
Station House Officer (SHO) Ramroop Meena said that the condition of the victims worsened within minutes after they consumed the poisonous tea. The police are investigating the incident, and they are trying to understand how the toxic substance was mixed into the tea by mistake. Darija's husband Shambhu and neighbor Manish are still in the hospital under treatment and are critical. The village is still grieving from the tragic loss, and the authorities are continuing their investigation to ensure justice for the affected families.
