There is a lot of fighting and tension happening right now between India and Pakistan, especially around the Kashmir region.

The President of the United Nations General Assembly, Philemon Yang, said he is very worried about the situation. He wants both countries to stay calm and not fight anymore.

He said, “Please use peaceful talks and not violence to solve problems.” He also said that hurting normal people and their homes is never okay.

A UN Team Visits Kashmir Area

At the same time, a UN team went to Pakistan-administered Kashmir, where Pakistan says India fired missiles and hit a mosque. Some people got hurt, and some buildings were damaged.

India says it only targeted terrorist camps, not any place where normal people live.

Right now, both countries are saying different things, and the world is watching closely to see what happens next.

The UN wants both countries to talk peacefully and avoid war. Everyone hopes things will calm down soon so that people in Kashmir and nearby areas can feel safe again.
