UPSC Aspirant Found Dead in Mysterious Circumstances in Delhi’s Mukherjee Nagar: 21-Year-Old Deepak Kumar Meena Missing Since September 11 After Clearing Prelims

In a tragic incident, the body of a 21-year-old UPSC aspirant was found under suspicious circumstances in Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar. The deceased has been identified as Deepak Kumar Meena, a resident of Balin village in Dausa district, Rajasthan. Deepak had cleared the UPSC prelims earlier this year and had been preparing for the mains in Delhi.

Deepak's father, Chandulal, shared that his son had enrolled in an online course for UPSC preparation while residing in Jaipur. After successfully clearing the prelims, the institute called Deepak to Delhi for further preparation for the mains. Deepak arrived in Mukherjee Nagar for the first time in July, where he stayed in a PG accommodation to continue his studies.

Chandulal last spoke to his son on the night of September 10 at 8 PM. After that, there was no communication from Deepak on September 11 and 12, which raised concerns. On September 13, when they tried to call him, Deepak's phone was switched off. This prompted his family, along with a group of villagers, to travel to Delhi.

Upon reaching Mukherjee Nagar, they visited Deepak's PG, where his two roommates informed them that he had not returned after 11 AM on September 11. The family searched for him around the area and at his institute but found no leads. On September 14, Chandulal lodged a missing person complaint at the Mukherjee Nagar police station, reporting his son missing under mysterious circumstances.

The police have registered the complaint, and investigations are underway to uncover the details surrounding Deepak’s disappearance and death.
