Uttar Pradesh Unleashes Safety Revolution: Women's Commission Implements Bold New Measures!

It was during a recent meet that the UP State Women's Commission has announced several radical measures that seek to make the state safer for women. The decisions are mostly geared at securing public spaces more intensively, especially at the fitness centers, at all educational institutions, and retail environments.
Key Measures Implemented
Female Trainers in Gyms/Yoga Centers: All women's gyms and yoga centers will be mandatorily be trained by female trainers only. Each of them will have to go through the verification process also for security purposes.
Verification of Identity: The visitors to women's gyms and yoga centers will be subjected for verification of identity by showing Aadhaar cards or voter ID. Photocopy of these documents will be collected at the counter for security purposes.
Installation of CCTV Surveillance: All women's gyms and yoga centers should have active CCTV cameras including DVR systems to watch their activities and ensure proper safety.
School Bus Security: A female security personnel, or at least a female teacher would be made compulsory in every school bus for the students' safety during transportation.
Dance Centers: Female dance instructors would be engaged with in dance academies, and there would be an active CCTV system with DVR that will be monitored.
Tailoring Centers: Boutique centers would be also allowed on condition that there would be female tailors to do the clothes fitting as there would be an active CCTV system for security.
Verification of Institutions: There would be verification exercises conducted with all the educational institutions within the district to ascertain their safety standards.
Coaching Centers: Coaching centers should provide effective CCTV monitoring during classes and adequate sanitation facilities.
Female Employees in Clothing Stores: Women's clothing shops must have women staff working within the same stores so that they may shop comfortably.
A Commitment to Safety
These include setting up deeper and stricter verification processes, and making sure every environment that women go to would have an adequate number of female composition within it, to make all places safer for women.
It shows the upward trend of society's commitment towards concerns in respect to safety and rights of women in Uttar Pradesh and is reflected as part of its measures towards this end. This is an important step towards fostering a safe and respected environment for all women across the state.
