Varun Dhawan Calls Amit Shah the 'Hanuman of India': Here's the Question That Sparked the Remark

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan engaged Union Home Minister Amit Shah in a thought-provoking discussion during an event when he asked, "What is the biggest difference between Lord Ram and Ravan?" Shah responded by emphasizing the role of dharma. He said, "Lord Ram acted according to dharma, while Ravan let his self-interest dictate his duties."

Dhawan praised the insights by Shah and further added, "Ravan was arrogant about his knowledge, while Ram had knowledge about arrogance." Shah supported the point with the element of dharma.

Dhawan praised Amit Shah for his clarity and dedication and referred to him as the "Hanuman of the country" for his selfless service. "Though he is called Chanakya in politics, I think he serves like Hanuman, a devoted man, dedicated towards the nation," he said.

In turn, Shah spoke on other issues like governance, ensuring that BJP's style of governance would be intact, irrespective of the election results. The dialogue underscored the linkage between historical philosophy and contemporary leadership.
