Vijayta Pandit Claims Shah Rukh Khan Promised Late Husband Aadesh Shrivastava to Support Their Son, But Now His Phone is Unreachable

Veteran Bollywood actress Vijayta Pandit, known for her role in Love Story alongside Kumar Gaurav, has recently made headlines after sharing a personal story involving Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. In a candid interview, Pandit claimed that Shah Rukh had promised her late husband, renowned music director Aadesh Shrivastava, to support their son, Avitesh Srivastava, in the film industry.

Struggles to Contact Shah Rukh Khan for Help

In her conversation with The Indian Express, Vijayta revealed that she attempted to reach out to Shah Rukh Khan for assistance in advancing her son’s career. However, her efforts were unsuccessful, as Shah Rukh’s manager, Pooja Dadlani, did not respond to her calls. Vijayta shared her frustration, noting that despite the promise made to her late husband, she has been unable to get in touch with the Jawan actor for support.

Approaching Amitabh Bachchan for Support

In addition to contacting Shah Rukh Khan, Vijayta Pandit has now turned to veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, hoping that he might lend a hand in helping her son. She clarified that she is not asking for them to cast Avitesh in films but simply to recommend him and assist him in securing auditions. “I am the only parent with Avitesh, so I have to make sure that he becomes something in life, she explained.

Vijayta Pandit highlighted her family’s long-standing connection with Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, recalling how her late husband, Aadesh Shrivastava, and her brothers, the famous music directors Jatin and Lalit Pandit, created music for many of their iconic films. The Jatin-Lalit duo composed memorable soundtracks for movies like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, all featuring Shah Rukh Khan in leading roles.

Vijayta Pandit’s Hopes for Her Son’s Future

Despite the challenges, Vijayta remains hopeful that with the support of industry veterans like Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, her son Avitesh will find his footing in Bollywood. She emphasized that her request is not for immediate stardom but for an opportunity to showcase Avitesh's talent and potential.
