Vikas Sharma, Republic Bharat TV anchor, dies at 35

Vikas Sharma, Republic Bharat TV anchor and host of the show titled Yeh Bharat Ki Baat Hai, passed away on February 04.

The news came as a huge shock to the entire media fraternity. He was one of the prime reporters of Republic TV network.

As per several media report, the 35-year-old TV anchor was diagnosed with COVID-19.

However, he had recovered from the infection but was suffering from ill health. He was admitted in Kailash Hospital of Noida sector 71. He breathed his last in the hospital.

Meanwhile, confirming the news, the team of Republic Bharat offered their condolences.

The channel via its official Twitter handle wrote: “Republic Media Network mourns the loss of Vikas Sharma, Republic Bharat’s most loved anchor who passed away on Thursday.”

As per Republic network, Vikas died due to COVID-19 complications.

Meanwhile, many people, including reporters from various news channels, are offering their condolences to his untimely death.

Vikas used to anchor primetime show ‘Yeh Bharat Ki Baat Hai’ on Republic Bharat.

Vikas Sharma was 35 years old and has left behind his spouse, a son and a daughter.
