Bill Gates, a co-founder of Microsoft, was spotted travelling in an electric auto rickshaw while visiting India, and a video of the incident has since gone popular online.
The video was posted by the millionaire on his Instagram account. He may be seen in the opening of the video watching himself in the rearview mirror. “What has three wheels, has no emissions, and is silent? Its brand name is Mahindra Treo “reads the captions above the video’s content. He adds, “We’re going to need to reimagine the way we do everything from agriculture to transportation to get on the road to a zero-carbon emissions society,” while also emulating some aspects of the three-wheeler.
The billionaire, dressed appropriately in a suit and tie, navigated several roadways. Mr. Gates appeared to be enjoying driving the electric car based on his facial expressions. It’s interesting that the song “Babu Samjho Ishare” from the movie “Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi” is featured in the video.
The benefactor said as the post’s caption: “India has an unwavering drive for invention. I operated an electric rickshaw that could travel up to 131 km (81 miles) and hold up to 4 passengers. It is encouraging to see how businesses like Mahindra are assisting in the transportation sector’s carbon reduction.”
The reel has received 66,000 likes and more than one million views since it was posted on the app.
Anand Mahindra, the chairman of the Mahindra Group, responded by inviting Bill Gates to take part in a “three-wheeler EV drag race” with cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar. He shared the video that Mr. Gates had uploaded on Twitter. The caption was “Chalti ka Naam Bill Gates ki Gaadi,” according to Mr. Mahindra. Thank you, @BillGates, for taking the time to check out the Treo. Now, you, @sachin rt, and I should compete in a 3-wheeled electric drag race on your upcoming vacation.
