Weather News: According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) heavy rainfall is likely over Rajasthan, West M.P., West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura. Also, there are chances of heavy rainfall in the Gujarat region, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is very likely over east U.P., Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Kerala and Mahe and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal.
Moreover, squally weather is very likely over the Southwest and Westcentral Arabian Sea. Hence, fishermen are advised not to venture into these areas.
Furthermore, there is no significant change in maximum temperatures over most parts of the country during the next 5 days.
Isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Northeast India. The weather on September 19 also seems to be murky. As per IMD, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over east Rajasthan, Gujarat region and Tamil Nadu.
