Weather News: IMD forecasts rainfall and intense heatwave in these regions

Weather News: India’s Weather Department, India Metrological Department (IMD) informed the presence of clouds over Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan and Haryana.

These regions are likely to witness a drop in temperatures. Resultantly, the heatwave is also likely to reduce in these areas.

Also, heavy rainfall is likely to continue over Kerala-Mahe and Tamil Nadu-Puducherry- during 12-14 April.

Besides, Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh are also predicted to be under the spell of heavy rainfall during 13-16 April.

The IMD weather news forecasts Western Himalayan Region will see moderate rainfall from 12 to 16 April under the influence of the Western Disturbance.

Moreover, there are chances of isolated rainfall over Punjab on 12 and 13 April. Apart from these regions, Northwest Rajasthan and north Haryana will also see rainfall on 13th April .

Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab are predicted to face thunderstorms and lightning.

Furthermore, dust raising winds are also very likely over southern parts of Rajasthan, Punjab and Haryana.

IMD also points out that there will be a significant reduction in spatial extent and intensity of heatwave Spell over Northwest India and MP.
