Dense fog at isolated places is very likely over Punjab, Haryana, West UP, north Rajasthan, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Furthermore, the IMD has predicted a wet spell over the Western Himalayan Region and adjoining plains of northwest India on February 8 and 9 and over east India on February 9 and 10.
Also, a fresh Western Disturbance and its induced cyclonic circulation is very likely to affect northwest India from February 8 night. It is very likely to cause scattered to fairly widespread light/moderate rainfall/snowfall with thunderstorm and lightning over Western Himalayan Region.
For tomorrow, the IMD has predicted fairly widespread rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning over Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh. Also, isolated rainfall over East Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan is very likely on 09th February. Isolated hailstorm likely over West Uttar Pradesh on 09th February.
