According to the IMD, snowfall and rainfall are highly likely between February 2 and February 5. Also, fairly widespread to widespread light/moderate rainfall/snowfall over Western Himalayan Region during 2 to 4 February is likely.
There is a prediction of an isolated hailstorm over W. Himayalas on February 3rd. Moreover, Punjab, Haryana, UP, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Sikkim, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Meghalaya, Manipur, Assam, Tripura, Assam, and Nagaland may also witness rainfall in early February.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted isolated light rainfall over South Karnataka and Rayalaseema; also coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Kerala during the next five days.
There will be cold wave conditions over Punjab, southern parts of west Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, north Madhya Pradesh. Besides, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and East Uttar Pradesh are likely to experience cold wave conditions during the next 24 hours.

The confluence between westerlies and easterlies at lower tropospheric levels is responsible for these chilly winters.
Furthermore, scattered to fairly widespread light/moderate rainfall with isolated hailstorms is likely over Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Sikkim on 3rd and 4th; Assam and Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are likely to witness rainfall on 4th and 5th February.
Light isolated rainfall/snowfall is likely over Jammu-Kashmir during the next 5 days.
IMD’s five-day precipitation forecast predicts a gradual rise by 4-6°C in minimum temperatures, which is likely till February 3 and fall by 3-4°C thereafter over most parts of Northwest and Central India.
