There is a case where a woman from Pune, Maharashtra, by name Rekha killed her boyfriend named Balaji Lande. It was the crime committed after many arguments between them. It has been claimed that Balaji tortured Rekha's mind continuously, and due to this mental torture, she was not able to tolerate and decided to eliminate him.

Murder Plot and Its Execution

Rekha invited Balaji to her home. She, along with her friends, including Dinesh Upade, Aditya Shinde, and three other accomplices, mercilessly beat him with iron rods on his feet and head. After severely injuring Balaji, they transported him to the YCM Hospital in a rickshaw. However, despite his bloodied state and agony, Balaji succumbed to his injuries before receiving any treatment.

The assailants attempted to mislead the police by providing a fake name for Balaji at the hospital. However, the authorities soon began their investigation by reviewing CCTV footage, which helped identify inconsistencies in the story.

The Daughter's Revelation

The breakthrough came when the police visited Rekha's home and found her 16-year-old daughter. Showing the daughter a photo of Balaji, she immediately recognized him and confessed to the entire crime. She revealed that Rekha had planned the murder due to mental distress from the ongoing disputes with Balaji.

Arrests and Ongoing Investigation

The police have detained three suspects regarding the crime and are searching for the rest of the suspects. This case has really shocked the people, and the police are continuing to investigate. Rekha had confessed to this crime, citing emotional distress due to the relationships she was into.
