In a surprising incident, a woman waved a saffron flag and performed a ritual inside the historic Taj Mahal in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The woman, associated with the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, also poured water, claimed to be Ganges water, within the premises. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel promptly detained her for questioning.

This marks the second such incident within the Taj Mahal. On the auspicious occasion of Sawan Monday, the woman, identified as Meera Rathore, reportedly climbed onto the roof of the monument, performed the ritual, and waved the saffron cloth. Meera Rathore, a member of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha, had previously attempted to enter the Taj Mahal with a 'Kanwar' (a decorated vessel used in a religious procession), but was stopped outside.

A few days earlier, two young men were caught sticking an 'Om' sticker inside the Taj Mahal and pouring water from a bottle, claiming it was Ganges water. Their photos performing the ritual went viral on social media. Both individuals were subsequently arrested for their actions inside the monument.

These incidents have raised security concerns and prompted discussions about the need for stricter monitoring and enforcement of regulations within the premises of the Taj Mahal to preserve its sanctity and historical significance.
