Sadhguru on World Mental Health Day: Invest 7 Minutes Daily for a Healthy Mind
New Delhi: On the occasion of World Mental Health Day, spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev shared a powerful message emphasizing the importance of nurturing the human mind — calling it “our primary business.”
In his message, Sadhguru said that the human mind is both the source of astonishing inventions and deep global conflicts. “The human mind is the most powerful and phenomenal tool on this planet,” he said. “It has manifested in the most astonishing inventions and technological advances that have become a benchmark of human ingenuity. However, all the strifes, conflicts and humanitarian crises around the world are equally a product of the human mind.”

A Call to Take Charge of the Mind
Sadhguru urged individuals to take charge of their mental wellbeing, calling it essential for creating a more peaceful and harmonious world. “This #WorldMentalHealthDay, we must commit to take charge of this magnificent tool — our mind — so that its wellbeing manifests the many miracles it is capable of,” he stated.
He also encouraged people to dedicate just seven minutes a day to practices that help stabilize and strengthen mental health. “Let us commit to investing 7 minutes a day to experience the miracle of the mind,” Sadhguru added.
Mental Health Beyond Boundaries
Experts say Sadhguru’s message comes at a crucial time, as mental health issues continue to rise globally. The focus of World Mental Health Day 2025 is on self-awareness, emotional balance, and breaking the stigma around mental wellness.
His message aligns with this year’s global theme, encouraging individuals to build a daily practice for inner stability — highlighting that true wellbeing begins with mastering one’s mind.
