Yamuna Expressway Accident: Swift Car Hit by Bus, UP Police Sub-Inspector Neha Shukla Dies, Husband Critically Injured

Yamuna Expressway Accident: Tragedy strike, Late night last evening in Mant of Mathura the Yamuna Expressway mile stone 100 witness horrific road mishap a Double decker bus has dashed Swift Car; Sub-inspector of U.P Police was crushed on the spot on Wednesday; her husband badly injured hospitalized.

The accident occurred around 12:15 AM when the bus, which was traveling from Noida to Lucknow, hit the car. Neha Shukla was a 2022-batch sub-inspector who was posted at the Naini Police Station in Prayagraj. The couple was on their way to Agra when the accident took place. Both of the car's occupants were badly injured due to the collision. When the police were informed, they rescued the victims and took them to the hospital, where Neha was pronounced dead.

Police Investigation

According to Mant Police Station officials, Neha was a resident of Jamalpur village in Banda district. The bus had 18 passengers on board, of whom two have suffered minor injuries. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and further investigation is going on to know the cause of the accident.
