Yogi Adityanath Links Attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh and Sambhal to Babar’s Legacy, Says 'DNA is the Same'

On Thursday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath issued a strong statement linking the recent attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh and the violence in Sambhal to the legacy of Mughal Emperor Babur. Adityanath compared the atrocities that are happening today with what Babur did 500 years ago in Ayodhya, claiming that the nature and "DNA" of the perpetrators in both instances are the same.

Speaking at the inauguration of Ramayan Mela at Ram Katha Park in Ayodhya, Adityanath said the spirit of Ayodhya does not change with the change of time. "While the event took place in Ayodhya, celebrations were global, signifying the importance of Lord Ram and his temple in this world," he said. "Ayodhya holds the solution to every problem in the world," he asserted, stating that it is a place free from hatred and divisiveness.

Adityanath further elaborated that as long as faith stands strong, India will continue to prosper and not budge an inch. In a sharp remark, he added, "Those who do not follow the path of Lord Ram are of no use to us." The Chief Minister also criticized the political scenario, stating that the "socialist and family-oriented" approach of the present politicians was weakening the country.
