"Opposition MPs Carrying Palestinian Bags, We're Securing Jobs in Israel": Yogi Adityanath Targets Priyanka Gandhi
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in the winter session of the state assembly, took a dig at Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi for carrying a "Palestinian bag" in Parliament. On the other hand, he presented his government's achievements by providing employment opportunities to the youth, including jobs in Israel.
Yogi's Comments on Youth Employment
The CM said that the UP government has ensured recruitment is transparent and fair. He said that over 7 lakh government jobs have been given so far, of which 69,000 are teachers and over a lakh police personnel. Over 5,000 youths from UP are currently working in Israel, he added, earning salaries of ₹1.5 lakh per month.
Targeting Opposition
Criticizing Priyanka Gandhi's symbolic gesture of carrying bags that support Bangladesh and Palestine, Yogi said, "As opposition MPs are busy holding Palestinian bags, we create employment opportunities abroad for youth."
Educational Recruitment Achievement
He further mentioned his own government's initiatives for the reforms in education. It claimed that recruitment in this education sector was brought to a standstill under other previous governments. He pointed out that while giving reservation to everyone, 32,000 OBC and over 14,000 SC candidates were selected for 69,000 positions in the teaching.
The Past vs Present
Yogi referred to alleged anomalies of the previous government during which 56 of 86 SDM positions have been taken by representatives belonging to the same caste. He further stated that the opposing leaders are promoting non issues while the Yogi led government policies have been helpful in the skilling of more than 12 lakh youth of the state.
