The Iranian lady Sahar Tabar who has been often compared to a zombie version of Hollywood actress Angelia Jolie, has been sentenced to jail for a decade, as per her lawyer. Sahar Tabar, whose real name is Fatemeh Khishvand, was arrested in Iran back in october 2019 as well.
As per the reports, Instagram star Sahar Tabar was arrested along with three other social media influencers. According to a report in Guardian, the 19-year-old Sahar Tabar was charged with corrupting the youth with her social media activities and disrespect for the Islamic Republic.
The young Instagram star used to post heavily distorted and edited pictures of herself using makeup. Sahar Tabar received massive limelight and prominence when she shared her pictures of resemblance with many characters played by actress Angelina Jolie.
Calling on the actor to campaign for her, she had said, “The Islamic Republic has a history of tormenting women. We need to be united against this gender apartheid.” Jolie is a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador. Tabar was first charged with “blasphemy, inciting violence, gaining income through inappropriate means and encouraging youths to corruption,” the Guardian reported.
Masih Alinejad, an Iranian journalist posted on Twitter: “10 years jail for Iranian Instagrammer who used make up & Photoshop to become a zombie Angelina Jolie.”
Iranian Instagrammer Sahar Tabar was rumoured to have had around 50 plastic surgery procedures, although many of her pictures were heavily edited. The Instagram star later confirmed that she never wanted to look like Jolie.
After the controversy, Sahar Tabar’s official Instagram account has been deleted but there are multiple fan pages that post pictures of the 19-year-old Instagrammer. Check out her pictures:
She used cleaver makeup and editing to just mess around. While Tabar has had some plastic surgery done on her lips for fuller appearance, her face isn’t as extreme as she looks in the photos that went insanely viral on internet.
