On social media, a video has been trending for all the right reasons. It depicts a woman getting her hair shaved at a salon. The cancer survivor who breaks down in the video as the barber trims her hair is also a survivor. But she wasn’t prepared for what came next.
Over a million people have watched the video since it was posted to the Goodnews Movement’s Twitter account.
It depicts a young woman having her head shaved in a salon. While getting her hair trimmed, she cries. She is comforted by the man who gives her a head shaving. But when the barber shaved off his own head, she was completely surprised. He took this action in support of the cancer patient.
“No one fights alone! He shaves off his own hair in solidarity with a cancer patient,” the video caption.

This man’s kind act was praised by internet users. “That person is a perfect example of what is morally correct. He and his customers deserve blessings. A speedy recovery for her is requested. Our thoughts and prayers will be with her, a user remarked.
They are familiar to me. However, there are instances when the most straightforward actions have the greatest effect, as one user noted.
