Pakistani man booked for wearing wolf mask, netizens go ROFL

The coronavirus pandemic has hit humanity hard and has taught many important things. One of the most crucial things that the coronavirus induced pandemic has taught us is the improtance of wearing a mask to contain the spread of coronavirus.

This is one of the many learnings that we are willing to take forward in 2021 as well. However, there had been others who have taken the whole thinh to a whole different level.

In a hilarious incident in Peshawar, the law enforcement body arrested a man on New Year’s Eve who decided to wear a mask while going out. However, he was later arrested by the police.

Arrested for wearing a mask? Yes, that’s strange.

But the man wasn’t wearing any traditional protective equipment that we normally wear. He instead wore a costume mask to scare off people. Yep. Now, he is going viral.

What Happened?

On the New Year’s Eve, the man wore a wolf designed face mask to play prank on people on the last day of an already eventful year, 2020. He was later detained by the authorities.

The incident was shared on Twitter by Pakistani journalist Omar R Quraishi. He posted a photo in which the man, wearing the wolf mask, can be seen handcuffed and standing along with cops.

“Police in the Pakistani city of Peshawar arrest a young man on New Year’s Eve – for wearing a costume mask to scare people,” he wrote, while sharing the image.

As the bizarre incident surfaced on internet, it went viral in just no time and has garnered more than 8K likes and 2k retweets. While some appreciated the man for at least wearing a mask during corona times, others asked why he was arrested for wearing one.
