Pani Puri, Aloo Tikki seller in formal suits: An Inspirational story from Hotel Management classes to roadside stall

India is a country that is famous for its varied street food. The variety is unlimited so are its vendors. A video of a pani puri seller is going viral. The reason is quite evident in their unusual dressing when it comes to selling pani puri. Have you ever seen Aloo tikki chaat sellers all dressed up in dapper suits?

This is the story of a 22-year-old Sikh chaat seller from Mohali. Every day the boy dresses up in a business suit to go to his work of selling street food.

He and his brother sell all kinds of delicacies from aloo chaat, tikki to golgappa.

Harry Uppal, a Youtuber and food blogger visited this chaat stall. He asked the dedicated young street food seller about his aloo tikki stall.

The stylish Mohali Tikki chaat seller in suit

The tikki seller shares his journey from Hotel management to selling tikki in suit on road.. The boy started this stall a few months ago with his own money. Pandemic had wreaked havoc on millions, taking away people’s jobs. This pani puri seller also struggled hard to make his ends meet during the tough times. But it is rightly said that when the going gets tough, the tough get going.

But why does the boy sell aloo tikki wearing a fromal suit? The seller has studied hotel management. In the classes, he was told to always dress smartly. This is his reason for attending his customers on his aloo tikki stall.

Interestingly, the suited aloo tikki seller brothers use pure desi ghee to make all the dishes on their stall. They have bigger plans of expanding their business in near future.
