Rhea Singha and Srestha Choudary to represent India at Miss Teen Universe in Madrid

Pre Teen Universe India Srestha, 14, and Teen Universe India Rhea Singha, 18, are on her way to participate in the 12th edition of prestigious Miss Teen Universe, the grand finale scheduled to be held in Madrid, Spain. In a press conference held in Noida, it was announced by the National Director of Miss Teen India that both the girls will participate in the International pegeant.

More than 80 participants from all over the globe have been shortlisted for the grand finale. They are going to represent India in the coveted international beauty pageant.

“I am very excited to represent my country, my people and especially India at the prestigious beauty pageant at Madrid. I am pretty confident of perfom my best for the crown but to represent my country on such a huge platform. I feel like I am the winner already. It is a huge achievement for me and I am proud of myself. It has been a great journey so far. My parents have supported a lot in my journey. I thank Miss Teen India National Director Miss Jasmeet Kaur for this wonderful opportunity. Girls in India are getting exposure to shine in this field. I am proud to represent India in Madrid,” said Rhea Singha.

Srestha Choudary, said, ” This is a huge opportunity for me to represent India at an international fashion event. Girls today need to live the way they wish to and live in the moment. I am setting myself straight with the motive to learn from others. I have prepared with utmost effort and grace for the international event in Madrid. My goal is to give the best platform for teenage girls in the country, which is growing and enriching. I heartily thank Jasmeet Kaur ma’am to provide this wonderful opportunity to represent India at international level.”

Jasmeet Kaur, National Director, Miss Teen India, said, “It is very wholesome feeling to not only groom these teens for global events but also guide them for challenges and opportunities. India is doing really well in this genre as more talented young individuals are coming forward and break the glass ceiling. In the festive spirits of India’s G-20 Presidency, we wish Indian beauties bring more laurels to India on international platforms.”

The event at the Flying Dutchman, Noida, involved the contestants enjoying an array of contests, group dynamics, photoshoots, charity events, online and on-ground sessions. The contestants interacted with media persons and invitees. A noble cause of the charity school ‘Apna Ghar’ a venture by Srishti Kaur was also in the fore.

Fashion mentor Dr Rita Gangwani was also present at the press conference. She said, “I extend my heartfelt wishes to both the contestants Rhea and Srestha. They have to go miles in the field of fashion with their consistent efforts and grace. I am quite confident that both the girls are groomed perfect under the guidance of Jasmeet Kaur.”

Miss Srishti Kaur, former Miss Teen Universe 2017, said, “I thank everyone to come together and support the beautiful and talented girls today. I wish them all the best for their future endeavours.”

Noted fashion Choreographer Shakir Shaikh also graced the press conference to boost the girls’ morale. He said, “India is in the bright and right spot in the world in the field of beauty pegeant.”

Alicia, the South American pageant mentor of Srishti Kaur and many other international beauty queens also shared her insights about the future of India in the beauty pageant. She said, “we share a common cultural value and ethos as a society. It has been a great moment for me to see such young talents doing so well. India is a centre of classic beauty pageant. I wish both the contenders all the best’.

Both the girls stood up together in their sisterhood for awareness on social issues and causes. The event concluded with very positive hopes for India shining at international level.
