Greater Noida  A major leap in transportation is coming to Greater Noida with the upcoming Greater Noida Terminal at Bodaki. This modern railway station, designed to handle up to 100 trains daily, including Vande Bharat and other premium services, will soon become one of North India’s busiest and most advanced rail hubs.

What’s So Special About It?

Spread over 46 hectares, this terminal is part of a much bigger 176-hectare multimodal transport hub. The idea isn’t just to build a station—but a smart, commercial, and well-connected ecosystem.

Here’s a quick look at what’s coming:

  • 12 platforms
  • 63 yard lines for train maintenance
  • Ground floor for train ops, upper floors with offices & retail
  • Proximity to Noida International Airport—just under an hour

It’s not just a place to catch a train—it’s where business, transit, and tech meet.

One Hub, Many Connections

The Greater Noida Terminal is more than just rail. It's set to include:

  • An inter-state bus terminal
  • A local bus depot
  • A metro corridor connecting Bodaki to Depot station

This integrated model is designed to reduce travel stress and support seamless transitions between different modes of transport.

Zones & Connectivity

The project is divided into:

  • Zone 1: 130 hectares for commercial and transit infrastructure
  • Zone 2: 46 hectares for the rail terminal and related support

What makes it truly strategic is its connectivity:

  • Direct link to the Delhi-Howrah railway line
  • Access to key highways including NH-34, Eastern Peripheral Expressway, and local arterial roads

This ensures smooth flow for passengers and freight between Delhi-NCR and eastern India.

 Who’s Behind the Build?

The terminal is being developed under the DMIC-IITGNL joint venture, a 50-50 collaboration between the Central Government’s NICDIT and the Greater Noida Authority.

The Indian Railways will build the terminal, while a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) will take charge of additional infrastructure like utilities and the bus station.

The upcoming Greater Noida Terminal isn’t just a train station—it’s a vision for the future of urban mobility. With smart connectivity, efficient design, and links to every major transport mode, it’s going to reshape how people move in and out of Delhi-NCR.
