Greater Noida West: Residents of Amrapali Golf Homes and Kingswoods stage strong protest against AOA, Know Why?

Greater Noida West: The Amrapali Golf Homes and Kingswoods societies in Greater Noida West continued to show a growing list of issues, forcing its residents to stage strong protests against the Apartment Owners Association (AOA) on Sunday. The protest was due to the poor state of maintenance services in both societies, with residents chanting slogans outside the maintenance office and demanding immediate action.

This, following a number of complaints, the court receiver sought to intervene by taking away maintenance responsibilities from Nimbus Company and entrenching them with M/S Will Brothers India. With the order from the court, all services were said to be transferred by the 29th of the month. Nimbus failed to do so, forcing the residents to push through the action. Under pressure, Will Brothers India began providing services at Amrapali Golf Homes on Sunday, but police had to be called to manage the growing unrest.

Greater Noida West: Security Concerns and Maintenance Issues

Securing the area was one of the most principal concerns mentioned by residents. There are five towers, but there is only one posted security guard. Remaining residents' feeling threatened, which is a real cause for their concern. Furthermore, two months' maintenance bills presented by the AOA differ and water supply issues still have not been solved.

While Will Brothers India is now taking care of the maintenance at Amrapali Golf Homes, the future is uncertain at Kingswoods. The operations in this group, too, will be handled by Will Brothers India for the next few days as the new agency finally takes over.

Key Demands of the Residents

Residents have demanded that high court receiver's orders be complied with immediately, and a new maintenance agency for societies be instituted. They also demanded that the societies be better maintained and the AOA held accountable. If their demands are not redressed soon, they warn that they will be compelled to take more drastic measures to be heard.

With rising tensions, the residents ensure the realization of improvements they need and are waiting for quick intervention from the authorities.
