361 Plots Up for Grabs
The Yeida Plot Scheme has seen an overwhelming response, with 187,577 people applying for just 361 residential plots. The selection process is being conducted through a lottery system, and only those chosen through the lottery will be eligible to purchase these plots. Preference will be given to applicants who opt for a one-time payment for the land.
Payment Options and Guidelines
Once the lottery results are announced, successful applicants will be required to make payments according to Yeida's guidelines. Several payment options are available:
- Applicants can make a one-time payment for the full amount.
- Alternatively, they can pay 50% upfront and the remaining amount later.
- Another option allows for 30% to be paid upfront, with the remaining 70% in installments.
The final decision on plot allocation will be made based on the lottery draw set to take place tomorrow, October 10.
The Lottery Draw Process
The lottery draw will be held at the India Expo Mart in Knowledge Park, Greater Noida. Due to space constraints, only 1,877 applicants will be allowed to attend in person. However, the process will also be available online for those unable to attend. During the event, names will be drawn to determine which applicants will be allocated plots.
