Astronomers from the California Institute of Technology in the US have come up with the probability distribution function of the orbit of Planet Nine.
Planet Nine is a hypothetical one. It is believed that it lies beyond Neptune in the solar system.
Also, it could have a mass six times that of earth. The two astronomers Mike Brown and Konstantin Batygin have been working to find the Planet Nine.
Because of its distance from the sun, it is difficult for astronomers to find if it exists.
As per the scientists, after the five years of their proposition, they know where to look in the sky to find Planet Nine.
Hence, despite having a general idea about planet nine, scientists could not really come up with a full assessment of the range of uncertainties for where in the sky it might be.
Alien Life Could Exist On Hycean Planets

There are questions about how massive it might be, and how bright it might be. Moreover, in the outer solar system, beyond Neptune’s orbit, lies a circumstellar disc. And Pluto is a part of it. It is believed to consist of over 100,000 solar system bodies more than 100 kilometres in size. This disc is similar to the main asteroid belt and is known as the Kuiper belt.
