SpaceX successfully reuses Falcon 9 for 10th time to launch Starlink satellites

SpaceX reused its Falcon 9 rocket for the tenth time early on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Developed and manufactured by SpaceX, the Falcon 9 left the Florida facility with Starlink satellites for the orbit.

Before appearing live, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk tweeted that the Falcon 9 was the company’s first booster to achieve “double digits in flights.”

The latest launch comes as a part of SpaceX’s mission to deploy a satellite-powered internet service all across the globe. Presently, around 1,500 Starlink satellites are available in the orbit.

SpaceX shared the details about the pre-dawn launch and landing on the drone ship. The Falcon 9 which was reused for the launch this Sunday, lifted off back in 2019.
