The war of earth geograph has now reached space too. After the complete breakdown of ties between the US and Russia, a new video showing Moscow detaching its segment from the International Space Station (ISS) is going viral.
The video also shows the Russian cosmonauts disconnecting the Russian ISS modules from the ISS.
The viral video from Russia was released in the backdrop of Roscosmos chief’s warning to the US about the consequences if Russia walks out of the Space Station (ISS).
This new viral video comes just days after the US imposed a series of sanctions against Russia after its invasion of Ukraine.
It is a 47-second-long video showing Russia’s cosmonauts locking the Russian hatch, they are maneuvering the Zvezda module away from the flying outpost.
It is noteworthy here that the Russia’s module aboard ISS provides living quarters and refueling capability for the ISS. On the other hand, the US segment has the Japanese and European laboratories.

Moreover, the Zvezda module also acts as a space tug for the entire ISS outpost. Also, it has the capability of steering the ISS away from space junk.
But Russia has long been threatening to walk out of the International Space Station agreement with the US and Europe. The recent sanctions prompted the country to go for it now.
