England witnessed the collapse of their batting order as they lost 8 wickets on the fourth day.

Another record that will sound disappointing to England and their fans is that Aussies has won every Ashes after winning the test at Brisbane, the last time they loss the Ashes after that was back in 1955.

Former English Skipper Michael Atherton has blamed the English squad for the faliure and being out batted and out bowled.

He said the England’s batting line-up is too much dependant on their skipper Joe Root and is constantly failing to perform.

Atherton said if we look at England’s performance in the last couple of test they have become too reliant on Root, Root’s performance is great for the team but being too reliant on him is not.

If you count out the single partnership between Malan and Joe Root, English side were on the back foot throughout.

Alistair Cook, the former English skipper said the wet weather during the build-up of the game did not help.

He said Australia were at some advantage no matter how much we say that they faced similar issues.

Alistair Cook shared some stats saying that the Australian batsmen has faced over 3600 deliveries following the English summer and on the other hand England’s top order hasn’t even faced a quarter of that.

Former Australian Captain and batting legend Ricky Ponting made a statement that England will be facing a complete whitewash ahead in Ashes.

This can only be confirmed by time, if this statement will turn out to be true or not but he said leaving both Anderson and Broad out was a foolish move.

England would be looking forward to comeback strong in the Oval test and keep their chances alive in the tournament.

Aussies squad is facing some issue with injuries but would be looking forward to continue the dominant performance.
