Australia has defeated England by 275 runs in the 2nd test match to gain 2-0 lead in the Ashes series.
Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. Aussies batting first declared their innings on 473 and England got out on 236. Aussies declared their second innings on 230 and then bowled out England on 192 to win the match by 275 runs.
Jhye Richardson grabbed 5 wickets in the second innings and helped bowled out England quickly.
Marnus Labuschagne was awarded with the player of the match award for his amazing century in the first innings followed by the half century in the second.
Ponting on Joe Root
England lost in a really disappointing manner yet again.
They’re now behind with 0-2 lead against the host Aussies.

Joe Root and Dawid Malan were the only batsmen from the English side to perform throughout both the matches and help England.
Jos Buttler did out on an entertaining show in the last innings of the second test but it met an unfortunate end.
Joe Root following the loss didn’t hold back and blamed his bowlers for the bad performance.
He said the English bowlers are failing to pick up the correct length and bowl on it, he said bowlers are unable to follow strategy.

Ricky Ponting, the legendary Aussies skipper, who has lead them to two World Cup wins asked Root, “whose job is it to keep them in check?”.
He was shocked and even slammed Joe Root by saying why is he the skipper if he can’t make decisions.
He told that as a skipper it’s his responsibility to bring players in order and remove them if they fail to take the correct order.
