BCCI annual contract list: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced the annual player contract list for the Indian Senior Men’s team for Season 2020-2021. A total of 28 cricketers are in the BCCI central contracts in four different categories.

Firstly, there are few heavyweights who have been retained in the top bracket by the apex cricket body. However, there a few surprise additions to BCCI 2021 contract list.

The payment structure has been divided into four categories: Grade A+ earning 7 crore, Grade A earning 5 crore, Grade B earning 3 crore and Grade C earning 1 crore.

Notably, Hardik Pandya and Shardul Thakur moved up in a grade. India’s ace pacer Bhuvaneshwar Kumar has dropped down a grade. Spin twin Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav surprisingly have dropped down two grades.

Following the newbies’ superb outing in Australia, Shubhman Gill, Axar Patel and Mohammad Siraj have been added into the contract. On the other hand, BCCI has removed Manish Pandey and Kedar Jadhav from the annual contract list.

Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Rishabh Pant, and Hardik Pandya.

Grade B

 Wriddhiman Saha, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shardul Thakur, Mayank Agarwal

Grade C

Kuldeep Yadav, Navdeep Saini, Deepak Chahar, Shubman Gill, Hanuma Vihari, Axar Patel, Shreyas Iyer, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mohammed Siraj
