Champions Trophy 2025: Hybrid Model Approved, Matches to Be Played in Pakistan and Dubai
Under the hybrid model approved for the Champions Trophy 2025, India’s matches will be held in Dubai, while Pakistan will host the majority of games. The semifinals and final will also be played in Dubai unless India exits early, in which case they will shift to Pakistan.

The ICC and the PCB have agreed on the framework for the 2025 Champions Trophy under a hybrid model. The Board reported that the country will host the tournament along with Dubai, addressing some of the key concerns raised by the BCCI.
India's Matches in Dubai
According to the terms of the deal, all of India's league matches will be played in Dubai instead of Pakistan. More importantly, the semifinals and final will take place in Dubai as well. However, if India goes out before the knockout stage, the games will be held in Lahore and Rawalpindi, Pakistan.
Pakistan to Host Majority of Matches
Pakistan will host 10 matches, most of which will feature the league stage games. The hybrid model does allow Pakistan to retain hosting rights but address India's concerns about traveling to Pakistan.
