Tennis player Sania Mirza is one of India’s most famous athletes. She ended an amazing Grand Slam run on Friday, losing the Australian Open Mixed Doubles final to the Brazilian duo of Luisa Stefani and Rafael Matos. She battled to hold back tears as she spoke about her Grand Slam journey. Sania Mirza has returned home following an emotional Australian Open. It also called for some delectable dishes. Sania, like us, enjoys South Indian cuisine. Her most recent gastronomic adventure was enough to persuade us. She dove into a platter of idli sambhar and, without fail, published a photo on her Instagram Stories. We could see a half-eaten idli immersed in a bowl of sambhar.
“Home,” she captioned the photo, with a red heart emoji. Take a look at this:
South Indian cuisine is delicious, comforting, and extremely healthful. If you enjoy this cuisine, we have selected some popular dishes for you.
Rice Idli
This South Indian breakfast dish is tasty at any time of day. You can have the steaming light idlis with sambhar or the tomato and coconut chutneys, just like Sania Mirza.
Sambhar
This is a traditional South Indian curry. This sambhar recipe calls for yellow lentils, sambhar masala, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and a variety of veggies, both familiar and unfamiliar.
Masala Dosa
Masala dosa is without a doubt one of the most delicious meals on the world. When combined with a spicy potato filling, the crunchy exterior never fails to impress. It’s time to DIY this classic.
Dry Mango Kuzhambu
A wonderful tangy curry made with the goodness of mango and tamarind is a summer treat you can’t afford to miss.
Coconut Chutney
Without this delectable chutney, a South Indian spread is lacking. It complements Idli, Dosa, and Vada wonderfully. This chutney is delicious and is made with grated coconut, tamarind pulp, milk, and coconut oil.
