Puma Cricket accepted Ryan Burl’s request for sponsorship via Twitter, highlighting his glued shoes, and generously urged Burl to do away with glued shoes.
Puma Cricket’s generosity was praised by former Indian cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh.
Harbhajan and Yuvraj both took to Twitter to express their opinions.

Ryan Burl, a Zimbabwe cricketer, has sent an emotional message for sponsorship.
He posted a pic of his ripped shoe and a glue bottle. He tried to indicate that, after every series, he has to repair his shoes like this.
On May 22, Ryan Burl used Twitter to bring attention to sponsorship concerns.
Burl wrote, “Any chance we can get a sponsor so we don’t have to glue our shoes back after every series @newbalance, @NewBalance_SA, @NBCricket, @ICAssociation”
PUMA comes forward to help Burl
With the Tweet becoming viral and fans flooding in to show their support.
Puma Cricket noticed and responded to Burl via Twitter, “Time to put the glue away, I got you covered @ryanburl3.”
Burl in another Tweet expresses his delight at receiving sponsorship from a prominent sportswear company and thanks them for their kind gesture.
“I can’t wait to join the @pumacricket team! Thanks so much for reaching out”
To which Puma Cricket responded with, “Stronger together @ryanburl3″
Meanwhile, Burl, has appeared in two Tests, 18 One-Day Internationals, and 25 Twenty-20 Internationals since making his international debut in 2017.
He has 660 runs batted in across all formats as a middle-order batter.
