ICC T20I rankings: Quinton de Kock, the South African wicketkeeper-batsman, has risen four places in the ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings to a career-high eighth position following some strong performances in his team’s 3-0 victory over Sri Lanka.
This is his first appearance in the top ten in the T20I rankings, but he has previously held career highs of third in ODIs and sixth in Tests.
Virat Kohli has moved up one spot. The Indian skipper has moved up to No 4 in the lineup, displacing Devon Conway of New Zealand.
The swashbuckling New Zealand batsman has been demoted to No 5.
KL Rahul (No. 6) is the other Indian batsman in the top ten.

England’s Dawid Malan is leading the rankings, followed by Pakistan skipper Babar Azam at No 2, and Australia’s white-ball captain Aaron Finch at No 3.
Aiden Markram has risen 12 places to 11th place in the batters’ list, while Bjorn Fortuin (up 103 places to 43rd) and Anrich Nortje (up 29 places to 71st) have risen rapidly on the bowlers’ list.
Kusal Perera of Sri Lanka has moved up to 38th place after scoring 69 runs in two innings in the current weekly update, which also includes the final two matches of the Bangladesh-New Zealand series.
Mustafizur Rahman of Bangladesh has moved up two places to ninth after taking eight wickets in the series, while Nasum Ahmed (up 25 places to 15th) and Mehedi Hasan (up four places to 20th) have also made significant gains.
Shakib Al Hasan, on the other hand, has relinquished the top rank among all-rounders to Mohammad Nabi of Afghanistan.
