Cricketer Virat Kohli travelled to Rishikesh for a spiritual experience before India’s Test series against Australia.
Swami Dayanand Giri Ashram was visited by the couple. Anushka and Virat are seen attending ashram services in a number of images that have gone viral.
Other devotees who requested selfies from Virat at the ashram also received them.
Virat and Anushka are reportedly planning to attend a public religious ceremony at the ashram and then host a bhandara (religious feast)
After seeking blessings at an ashram in Vrindavan with their daughter Vamika, Virat and Anushka paid a visit to Rishikesh.
Australia is scheduled to tour India for a four-game Test series in the near future. The series, sometimes referred to as the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023, will be crucial in deciding who will finish first and second in the World Test Championship. For the one-time championship game at The Oval in June, the best clubs will win a playoff spot.
The ODIs will commence on March 17 in Mumbai, while the series will open on February 9 in Nagpur.
