IND vs AUS: The Australian Prime Minister meets Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, shares special connection with Akshardham Temple
IND vs AUS: As part of India's on-going tour of Australia, Indian cricket team won the first test match in a remarkable manner that took the lead in the series 1-0. Before their next test at Adelaide on December 6, the team will take part in a two-day warm-up game against the Prime Minister's XI starting on November 30. However, before the match, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had a meeting with key players of the Indian cricket team in Canberra.
In the meeting, Albanese stated how much he loves India's cricket stars, particularly Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah. He said he was more than happy to meet Bumrah because of his fantastic bowling and also had some quality time chatting with Kohli. The entire team, including the captain Rohit Sharma, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Ravindra Jadeja, welcomed Albanese warmly and spent time interacting with him.

Albanese has been Australia's Prime Minister for two years. He has forged an excellent connection with India, mainly with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This connection between both countries has flourished during his time. What is very interesting, however, is that Albanese also shares a special connection to India's Akshardham Temple in Delhi. During a visit to India in 2018, even before assuming the role of PM, he traveled alone to the temple on the Delhi Metro and then visited the sacred site without any security. Albanese was deeply impressed by the spiritual atmosphere of the temple and the warmth of the people whom he praised for their hospitality and respect. This visit to Akshardham further solidified his admiration for India and its culture.
