IND vs ENG: After being bowled out for 191 runs in the first innings, India thrashed the hosts by 157 runs to win their first match at the venue in 50 years.
On Tuesday, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared a video of celebrations and reactions after yet another legendary away triumph on Twitter.
“From the dressing room, we get you unseen visuals & reactions post an epic win from #TeamIndia at The Oval,” BCCI wrote.
In the video Umesh Yadav was saying: “We knew the wicket was flat so we have to put in a lot of effort on Day 5. We tried to bowl at good lengths and we tried to contain runs as we knew the wickets will come”.

Shardul Thakur was another player who had a significant impact on the game.
He returned with the ball to give India two critical breakthroughs, as if two rapid counterattacking half-centuries weren’t enough.
“It’s fantastic.I planned on making an impression in this game the day I found out I was playing it; and I planned on making such an impact that I could make a useful and winning contribution to the team “In the video, Thakur told BCCI.
The last Test between England and India will take place on September 10 at Old Trafford in Manchester.
Meanwhile India’s head coach Ravi Shastri will not accompany team India in Manchester as he was tests Covid positive and in self isolation for 10 days.
