IND vs ENG: The England and Wales Cricket Board confirmed that the Indian cricket team will play six white-ball matches against England in July of next year as part of its 2022 international home fixtures.
The Indian squad is currently playing England in a five-match Test series, with the last match set to begin on September 10.
However, unlike previous years, due to the duration of the tours during the COVID-19 pandemic; India’s red and white ball series have been separated.
In July, England’s white-ball matches at home will be against India, followed by South Africa.
According to the ECB’s schedule, India will begin the T20 International series on July 1 at Old Trafford; followed by matches at Trent Bridge (July 3) and the Ageas Bowl (July 5). (July 6).
Following that is a three-match ODI series, featuring games at Edgbaston (July 9); the Oval (July 12), and Lord’s (July 13). (July 14).
The England men’s team will kick off their home summer in 2022 with a three-match Test series against world champions New Zealand.
Joe Root‘s Test side will face the Black Caps at Lord’s on June 2 before moving on to Trent Bridge (10-14 June) and Emerald Headingley (14-16 June) (23-27 June).

“For next summer, I am please to be able to confirm three high-quality men’s international touring teams for 2022; starting with a three-Test LV= Insurance Series against World Test champions New Zealand.
“We also look forward to India returning for two white-ball series before we host South Africa for what promises to be hard-fought series across three formats, including three Test Matches,” he added.
