India is clashing against New Zealand in the first test match of the two test match series.
Today by the end of the stump day 3, Men in Blue started their 2nd innings with a lead of 49 runs.
Team India won the toss and elected to bat first. Men in Blue batting first scored 345 runs and restricted Kiwis on 296 runs to head into their second innings with a 49 runs lead.
Axar Patel grabbed 5 wickets and lead the Indian comeback on the third day. Ashwin grabbed 3 crucial wickets.
Stump Day 3 Summary
Kiwis started the third day from a really strong position. The Openers were on a over a hundred runs unbeaten opening partnership.
Ashwin gave Team India their first breakthrough in the 66th over as he dismissed Will Young on 89 runs of 214 balls.

The skipper Kane Williamson failed to score big as Umesh Yadav dismissed him on the score of 18 runs.
Kiwi batsmen failed to build any sort partnership apart from the 151 runs opening partnership.
Axar Patel grabbed his first wicket of the day in form of Ross Taylor. He got out after scoring 11 runs of 28 balls.
He grabbed the wicket of Henry Nicholls in his very next over and even gave Kiwi their biggest blow of the match in the 102nd over in form of Tom Latham.
Tom Latham missed his century by 5 runs as he got out after scoring 95 runs of 282 balls.
Apart from the openers only Kyle Jamieson was able cross the 20 runs mark.
Team India completely dominated the third day of the test match and ended the Kiwis’ first innings on the score of 296.

Men in Blue started their second innings with a good lead of 49 runs.
Mayank Aggarwal and Shubman Gill came into open the second innings Team India.
Team India lost Shubman Gill in the second over itself. He got out after scoring just 1 run of 3 balls on Kyle Jamieson’s delivery.
Men in Blue were on 14 runs at the loss of 1 wickets by the end of stump day 3 with Mayank Aggarwal and Cheteshwar Pujara on the pitch.
