Shardul Thakur scored a half century too by the end of the Innings but he alone wasn’t enough to promise the victory.

This match could be added as another failed chapter into KL Rahul’s captaincy book.

KL Rahul yet again failed to perform with bat when he is under the pressure of the captaincy cap.

There are few changes that Team India can possibly make in the second ODI in the playing XI.

Jayant Yadav can come in for Yuzvendra Chahal. He is a spinner and can provide good batting option too.

Surya Kumar Yadav can come in for Shreyas Iyer if team decides to give him a spot for the second ODI.

Ishan Kishan can least likely to make it into the playing XI in place of Rishabh Pant, it is least possible change compared to others but he can be given a chance and tested.
