Team India defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the third and final T20 International of the three match T20 series.
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first. Team India managed to restrict Sri Lanka on the score of 146 at the loss of 5 wickets and then chased it with 6 wickets and 19 balls remaining.
Shreyas Iyer was awarded with player of the match award for smashing an amazing match winning half century of 73 runs of 45 balls.
Shreyas Iyer was also awarded with the player of the series award for his consistent batting performance throughout the three matches.

Both Indian openers returned to pavalion after scoring low scores and giving Sri Lanka their first two breakthroughs.
Shreyas Iyer once again came in as the saviour of Team India, a role he was playing throughout the series.

Iyer smashed an amazing match winning half century of 73 runs of 45 balls and helped Team India make a comeback in the match.
He was supported by Deepak Hooda, Venkatesh Iyer and Ravindra Jadeja from the other end as he lead the Indian batting line-up to victory.
Shreyas Iyer smashed three fifties throughout the three matches of the T20 series against Sri Lanka and became the second Indian to do so.

The record was earlier held by none other than King Kohli, who achieved this feat in a series against West Indies.
Shreyas Iyer has been the key player behind the dominant victories in all of the three matches.
He would also be leading KKR in IPL, so performances like these would also boost the confidence of the Knights’ Camp.
