IND vs SL: Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw pair up for jam session, video goes viral

Shikhar Dhawan, India’s batsman, possesses a diverse set of skills. He has frequently posted video of himself playing the flute in his leisure time, demonstrating his passion for music.

On Team India’s current tour of Sri Lanka, Shikhar Dhawan enjoyed a jam session with none other than Prithvi Shaw.

Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw were seen singing a rendition of Kishore Kumar’s classic song Yeh Sham Mastani from the 1971 film Kati Patang ahead of the series’ start.

Prithvi Shaw started singing the iconic song as Shikhar Dhawan played the flute, impressing the fans.

Netizens praised the duo’s performance, and the video went viral on social media.

“Thursday tunes featuring our in-house superstar singer Prithvi Shaw,” Shikhar Dhawan captioned the video.

The duo always comes up with funny things to entertain their fans. Earlier BCCI had posted a short clip where both were seen playing ‘guessing game’.

“Loud music blaring in your ears. Your teammate miming and mouthing words. This guessing game takes a hilarious turn very soon. Presenting Music and Mime – Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw,” BCCI captioned the video

Meanwhile, India are in Sri Lanka to play a three-match ODI series followed by as many T20Is with the ODI series getting underway from Sunday (July 18).

Dhawan is the captain of the Indian side. He will also be leading the Indian team for the first time.

Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw are likely to start the batting for India. As Both batsmen are in excellent form.
