IND vs SL: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has named the India Men’s squad for the three-match ODI and three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka.
In the absence of Captain Virat Kohli and vice-captain Rohit Sharma, who are on the Test team’s tour of England. Shikhar Dhawan will head the side.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been name as vice-captain.
Middle-order batsman Nitish Rana, all-rounder K Gowtham, opening batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad, and fast bowler Chetan Sakariya are among the newcomers to the squad.
Ishan Porel, Sandeep Warrier, Arshdeep Singh, Sai Kishore, and Simarjeet Singh have been name as net bowlers.

The BCCI has also release the schedule for the forthcoming series. It will be held at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
The ODIs will be on July 13, 16, and 18, with the T20Is taking place on July 21, 23, and 25.

Meanwhile, The Indian Test team is in England for the World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand. It begins on June 18 in Southampton, and numerous regular players are missing from the squad.
