Team India defeated West Indies in the third and final ODI to grab a clean sweep win the three match ODI series.
Team India won the toss and elected to bat first and managed to score 265 runs at the loss of 10 wickets and then bowled out West Indies on 169 runs.
Shreyas Iyer was awarded with the player of the match for his amazing and crucial 80 runs knock of 111 balls.
Prasidh Krishna was awarded with Player of the series award for his spectacular bowling throughout the three matches.
Two Big Changes
The partnership between Iyer and Pant ended in the 30th over after Rishabh Pant got out after scoring 56 runs of 54 balls on Walsh Jr. delivery.
Then Team India lost Surya Kumar Yadav and Shreyas Iyer on short intervals and Iyer returned to pavalion after scoring a crucial 80 runs of 111 balls.
After the fall of Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant, Team India needed a crucial innings from the lower order but India was definitely missing the likes of Deepak Hooda and Shardul Thakur.
But the command was taken by Deepak Chahar and Washington Sundar amd joined a crucial partnership of 53 runs during the end of the innings and helped Team India reach a respectable total.
Deepak Chahar played an innings of 38 runs followed by a crucial 33 runs knock from Washington Sundar during the death overs.
Team India did won the ODI series with clean sweep but they just faced some big news for the upcoming T20 series against the same opponent.
KL Rahul and Axar Patel has been ruled out of the upcoming T20 series due to current unknown reason, probably because of an Injury.
The two players that would replace the two players are Youngsters Rituraj Gaikwad and ODI series debutant star Deepak Hooda.
The Series probably would mark the much awaited debut of Ruturaj Gaikwad, a moment we all missed in the ODI series and the series before.
Deepak Hooda had a great ODI series and would love to do the same in whatever opportunities he get in the upcoming T20 contest.
