Adjectives fall short when it comes to describing David Warner’s batting. The menacing Australian terrifies bowlers on his best days but when it comes to breaking a leg Warner never shies away. While on the field or off it, Warner is always livid and animated. The world cup winner is one of the foreign captains in the Indian Premier League besides another Aussie Steve Smith.
In his latest stunt, the southpaw was seen dancing to the beats of Allu Arjun’s immensely-popular ‘Butta bomma’ song. After anchoring his team to the playoffs, a Sunrisers Hyderabad fan page posted the video on Instagram.
Warner is also popular among cricket fans for his entertaining TikTok and Instagram videos. He had entertained his fans and followers across the globe, during the COVID-19 lockdown, with several TikTok videos where he was seen dancing to various iconic Hindi film songs.
The 34-year-old is featuring in the IPL since 2009. Despite his one year ban from cricket, he has been one of the consistent batsmen in the history of the tournament. He was the leading run-scorer in 2019, 2017, and 2015 respectively.
The 13th edition of the tournament has been no different for the Australian. He has already gathered 546 runs from 15 games striking at 135.14. Averaging 42.00 he has 4 fifties to his name.
Riding on Warner and others like Jonny Bairstow, Wriddhiman Saha, and Kane Williamson Sunrisers made it to the playoffs of this year’s IPL. In their last league game against Mumbai Indians, Warner and Saha’s unbeaten knocks took them to the 3rd spot above RCB. SRH went on to beat RCB in the Eliminator of the game which kept their hopes alive for the final.
