Wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is admired not only for his wizardry with the ball but also for his social media presence. The pocket-size leg spinner is always busy curating his social media accounts while away from the game. And similarly, he was back in action post Royal Challengers Bangalore’s exit from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. And of all the people, his latest social media post caught former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s attention.
The 30-year-old took to his Twitter handle to post a sponsored tweet of himself relaxing on the beach after a hectic schedule to promote the GoPro camera. “Sublime sunsets, solace captured on my brand new #GoProHERO9 Black #MoreEverything #GoPro #GoProIndia @GoPro @GoProIndia,” wrote Chahal.
His post was enough to tickle Yuvraj’s funny bones who couldn’t refrain from initiating a banter as he quipped, “You’re going to watch the final on go pro or going to the stadium to watch?”
Here’s the tweet:

Chahal who was a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad, had a decent outing in Dubai this year. Led by Virat Kohli, RCB put up a spirited performance in the 13th edition of the league. With 7 wins and 7 losses in the league stage, Kohli and his team made it to the playoffs. However, due to the net run rate difference, they ended up in the 4th spot and were scheduled to face David Warner’s Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator where SRH pipped past them in a low scoring game.
Chahal finished the 2020 edition with 21 wickets under his belt, the most any spinner in this year’s IPL. In 15 games he bowled at an economy of 7.08 and an average of 19.28, 3/18 being his most economical spell.
