The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) enjoy a good working relationship.
Many English players are thought to be unimpressed by Team India’s 11th-hour withdrawal from the Old Trafford match.

Meanwhile, The ECB and others engaged in the match’s organisation are alleged to have lost millions of pounds. This happens because of the Test’s cancellation.
The fact that the match could have been postponed by a day or two if the IPL 2021 resume on September 19 wasn’t at stake has enraged the hosts the most.
While the BCCI is busy preparing for its players’ departure from the United Kingdom for the United Arab Emirates; five England Test players are expected to compete in the T20 competition.
Because of the cancellation of the 5th Test, at least one of the five players; Jonny Bairstow, Sam Curran, Moeen Ali, Dawid Malan, and Chris Woakes – is rumored to be considering withdrawing from the IPL.
The five England players named above are expected to go to the UAE with the Indian contingent; and undergo a six-day quarantine upon arrival.
